Job Title: Electrical Intern

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electronics

Experience: Fresher (Internship Role)

Skills Required:

Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic components Willingness to learn maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices Ability to follow instructions and work with the electrical team

The Electrical Intern supports the electrical team in routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and documentation activities. This role provides hands-on learning experience in electrical systems, equipment operations, safety practices, and real-time maintenance procedures within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Support

Assist the electrical team in routine checks of control panels, motors, wiring, and equipment. Help in preventive maintenance activities and correcting minor issues under supervision. Support the team in replacing components such as switches, sensors, cables, and fuses.

2. Inspection Activities

Participate in daily inspections of electrical installations and equipment. Report abnormalities, loose connections, or safety issues to supervisors. Maintain checklists and inspection records.

3. Troubleshooting Assistance

Assist senior technicians in identifying faults in circuits, drives, sensors, and control systems. Learn basic troubleshooting techniques and safe handling of tools and testing instruments.

4. Documentation & Record Keeping

Help maintain logs, service records, and maintenance documentation. Update data related to inspections, repairs, and material usage.

5. Safety & Work Practices

Follow all electrical safety rules, PPE requirements, and workplace guidelines. Learn and apply safe work procedures during electrical tasks and operations. Keep the work area clean and organized.
