Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on HMC/VMC CNC machines.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in CNC controllers, drives, PLCs, and servo systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems of foundry equipment including induction furnaces, sand plant controls, and molding machines.
Ensure minimal machine downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns.
Installation & Commissioning:
Assist in installation, wiring, and commissioning of new CNC machines and foundry equipment.
Ensure proper calibration and safety compliance of new electrical installations.
System Optimization:
Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements to reduce energy consumption and improve productivity.
Work with automation systems and PLC programming to improve machine cycles or modify existing logic as needed.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain logs and documentation for electrical maintenance and inspection.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards (e.g., IEC, IS codes), and company policies.
Coordinate with external service providers and vendors for service, AMC, and parts procurement.
Cross-Departmental Support:
Support production and mechanical maintenance teams during critical operations.
Provide technical input during process or equipment upgrades.
