Job Description

Plan, design, and oversee electrical installations and systems for construction and infrastructure projects. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical works. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Supervise and coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project managers to ensure timely execution of electrical works. Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, transformer selection, panel design, and power distribution planning. Monitor testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, substations, and lighting systems. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues at site to minimize downtime. Ensure energy efficiency, sustainability, and safety in all electrical designs and implementations. Maintain documentation of electrical designs, approvals, and site progress reports. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) for seamless project execution.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution, and control systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, Dialux). Familiarity with IS, IEC, NEC, and other relevant standards. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Strong communication and team coordination abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Professional certifications (if any) will be an added advantage. Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred.
