Job Description

:
1. Electrical Design & Drawing Verification
Review and verify electrical layout drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams for warehouse power distribution.
Ensure compliance with IS standards, fire norms, and local electrical codes.
Coordinate with consultants/vendors for drawing approvals and implementation.
Maintain updated "as-built" drawings post-project execution.
2. BOQ Preparation & Technical Evaluation
Prepare BOQ for electrical items including HT/LT panels, cables, trays, light fixtures, earthing systems, DBs, MCBs, MCCBs, etc.
Evaluate technical bids and validate vendor quotes during PR/PO stages.
3. Site Execution & Functional Checks
Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
Conduct and document functional checks of lighting systems, DG sets, UPS, panels, breakers, fire alarms, etc.
Ensure IR, loop, and earth-pit testing are performed and documented.
4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure timely servicing of panels, DGs, UPS, and electrical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns with minimal downtime.
5. Safety, Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure adherence to safety norms earthing, signage, fire safety.
Support audits (internal, insurance, statutory) and maintain documentation.
Maintain records of load calculations, test certificates, and energy usage.
6. Energy Efficiency & Cost Optimization
Monitor and optimize energy usage.
Drive LED upgrades, automation, and power factor improvements.
Collaborate with IoT vendors for smart energy monitoring solutions.
7. Vendor Coordination & Quality Monitoring
Monitor vendor work quality and adherence to safety and specifications.
Conduct material quality checks and approve running/final bills after verification.
