Electrical Design Engineer - MCC / PCC Panel Design & Estimation

Kathwada, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Experience Required:

2-5 Years

Salary:

?20,000 - ?30,000 per month (Based on experience & skill match)

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering

We are looking for a skilled

Electrical Engineer

with hands-on experience in

MCC / PCC / Control Panel design and estimation

to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, practical exposure to electrical panel design, and proficiency in

AutoCAD

for preparing layouts and schematics.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prepare

GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and layouts

for MCC / PCC / Control Panels Prepare

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and perform material estimation as per project specifications Select suitable

switchgear components

(Breakers, Contactors, Relays, etc.) Coordinate with

production, purchase, and quality teams

for smooth panel execution Review client specifications and ensure compliance with applicable standards Provide support during

testing, FAT

, and technical documentation Optimize designs for

cost-effectiveness and manufacturability

Proficiency in

AutoCAD Electrical

and

MS Excel

Knowledge of switchgear brands:

Schneider, Siemens, L&T

, etc. Familiar with

type-tested panels

and industry standards (

IEC, IS

) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Experience with

Rittal or similar enclosure systems

Understanding of

control wiring, interlocking, and PLC interfacing

Exposure to

costing and vendor comparison

for electrical components
