Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Draftsman to create accurate technical

drawings and layouts for electrical systems in our projects. The ideal candidate

should have 2+ years of experience in electrical drafting, strong proficiency in

CAD software, and a solid understanding of electrical layouts, schematics, and

project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

? Electrical Drawings & Drafting

? Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics for

projects.

? Modify and revise designs based on project requirements and site

conditions.

? Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

? Coordination & Documentation

? Work closely with project engineers and site teams to ensure accurate

drafting.

? Maintain and update records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

? Assist in preparing BOQs and technical documents as needed.

? Technical Support & Site Coordination

? Provide technical support to the engineering team by interpreting

drawings.

? Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding

electrical layouts.

? Conduct site visits when necessary to ensure implementation aligns with

drawings.

? Compliance & Standards

? Ensure all designs adhere to electrical codes, standards, and safety

guidelines.

? Stay updated with the latest electrical drafting tools and industry best

practices.

Required Qualifications

? Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Electrical Draftsman in electrical

contracting or construction.

? Education: Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant certification

in drafting.

? Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit (preferred), and MS

Office.

? Technical Knowledge: Understanding of single-line diagrams (SLD),

cable routing, lighting layouts, panel schedules, and electrical

symbols.
