We are looking for an experienced

Electrical Draftsman

with a strong background in preparing

shop drawings

for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The candidate must be detail-oriented, technically sound, and capable of producing high-quality drawings that meet project requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed

electrical shop drawings

as per project specifications. Convert design drawings into accurate and coordinated shop drawings. Develop

single line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and panel schedules

. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with

local and international electrical standards

(IEC, BS, NFPA, etc.). Update and revise drawings based on consultant or site feedback. Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.

Must-Have Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in

Electrical Engineering

or related field.

Minimum 5 years of proven experience

as an Electrical Draftsman (shop drawings). Strong expertise in

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Knowledge of

Revit / BIM tools

(preferred but not mandatory). In-depth understanding of

electrical layouts, SLDs, load schedules, and MEP coordination

. Ability to interpret

consultant/architectural drawings

. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills.
