Job Title: Electrical Design Trainee (Fresher)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated

Electrical Design Trainee

to join our engineering team in the

transformer manufacturing industry

. As a trainee, you will support the design and development of power and distribution transformers, learning to apply electrical engineering principles and standards to real-world transformer projects. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about electrical systems and want to build a career in a specialized and critical segment of the power sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of distribution and power transformers Prepare electrical design calculations including core design, winding design, impedance, and losses. Assist in preparing GA (General Arrangement) and SLD (Single Line Diagram) drawings. Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure integration of electrical and mechanical systems. Support in creating technical specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and documentation for internal and client use. Help ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, IS). Participate in design reviews, prototype testing, and customer meetings when required. Learn and utilize design software tools like AutoCAD, EPLAN, and transformer design software (e.g., MagNet, Maxwell, or proprietary tools). Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical design and transformers.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (recent graduate or final-year student eligible for trainee program).

Skills & Competencies:

Basic understanding of transformer theory and electromagnetic principles. Familiarity with electrical design calculations and software tools (AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
