The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating electrical panel boards and control systems in compliance with IEC/IS standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in power control systems, motor control, and industrial automation, combined with a process-driven approach to ensure innovation, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical designs, schematics, and wiring diagrams for LT/HT panel boards, MCCs, PCCs, and automation systems.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and relevant international standards.
Integrate advanced power electronics and motor control solutions into system designs.
Draft technical specifications, BOMs, and design reports.
Support certification processes and quality audits.
Maintain design records and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Conduct design validation, simulation, and prototype testing.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve design-to-manufacturing challenges.
Ensure safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems.
Research and implement new technologies in industrial automation and renewable energy integration.
Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and smart panel solutions.
Suggest process improvements for efficiency and cost optimization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D).
Support client requirements by preparing technical proposals and presentations.
Participate in international projects and OEM collaborations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of experience in electrical design (panel boards, control systems, or industrial automation). or FRESHERS
Strong knowledge of IEC/IS standards, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design tools will be preferable.
Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and motor control systems.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
