Job Description

1. Leadership & Strategy

Lead and manage the electrical design team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery. Develop design strategies aligned with project and organizational goals. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

2. Electrical System Design

Oversee conceptual, basic, and detailed electrical design for projects. Prepare and review single-line diagrams, layouts, cable schedules, and control schematics. Ensure designs meet functional requirements, performance standards, and safety norms.

3. Project Management

Coordinate with project managers, architects, civil, and mechanical teams for integrated design. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for the design team. Provide technical support during project execution, installation, and commissioning.

4. Standards & Compliance

Ensure designs adhere to IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC, and other relevant codes/standards. Verify compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures in designs.

5. Innovation & Optimization

Recommend energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions. Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and design software. Continuously improve design methodologies for efficiency and accuracy.

6. Documentation & Review

Approve electrical design documents, BOQs, and technical specifications. Review vendor/subcontractor design submissions for accuracy and compliance. Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

7. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

Interact with clients to understand requirements and provide design solutions. Present design concepts, reports, and technical clarifications. Support business development with technical inputs for tenders and proposals.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
