Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Electrical Design Engineer

with 3-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical system design, including

voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, earthing system design, lighting design, switchgear selection, transformer sizing

, and

preparation of cable schedules

. The candidate should be proficient in using electrical design tools and should be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

voltage drop calculations

and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Conduct

cable sizing

and selection based on load, thermal, and short-circuit considerations. Design

earthing and grounding systems

for safety and performance. Prepare and analyze

cable tray and conduit layouts

, ensuring efficient and practical routing. Design and layout

interior and exterior lighting systems

, including lux level calculations. Select and specify

switchgears, circuit breakers, contactors

, and related components. Size and select

transformers

, based on load requirements and system design. Develop and maintain

cable schedules

, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules. Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards such as

IEC, NEC, BS, or local regulations

. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, etc.) during project execution. Participate in project planning, documentation, and design review meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical design for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, etc.). Proficient in using electrical design software such as

AutoCAD

. Familiar with MS Office and project documentation tools. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
