Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit.
Develop load calculations, cable sizing, panel schedules, and single-line diagrams.
Ensure designs comply with IEC, IS, and hospital-specific standards.
Project Coordination
Collaborate with MEP, civil, and ELV teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
Review shop drawings and vendor submissions for technical accuracy.
Provide design support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to statutory codes, safety regulations, and hospital accreditation requirements.
Prepare technical documentation for ISO audits and client approvals.
Innovation & Optimization
Recommend energy-efficient solutions and sustainable design practices.
Support value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
3-7 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in hospital or large-scale MEP projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (ETAP, Dialux, etc.).
Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, UPS, DG sets, lighting, earthing, and hospital-specific systems (nurse call, fire alarm, medical equipment power).
