Job Description

Job Summary
Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial or domestic purposes.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Understanding the design requirements of the project
• Knowledge of space planning for HT, Panel rooms, floor electrical rooms, distribution, risers etc
• Preparing electrical load estimate, design brief report
• Preparing detailed layouts for lighting and power distribution
• Preparing circuit layouts, cable routing design
• Preparation of detailed single line diagram and panel design
• Design earthing system including layout, scheme
• Preparation of cable sizing and schedule, voltage drop calculation
• Preparing bill of quantity including material take offs and tender documents
• Basic knowledge of telephone, network, CCTV layouts and scheme
• Responsible for the project from design stage to execution and completion of project at site
• Monitoring the progress of site at work and reporting the same to management and client as required

Requirements:

Past Experience Requirements:

• Preferably worked with targets, deadline and handled pressure
• Exposure in both LT and HT design
• Worked on projects in hotel, hospital, industrial, residential and IT sectors

• Adapt to business requirements
• Good problem solving skills, a team player and creative approach
• Good command of English - written and verbal communication
• Good technical knowledge about the electrical systems
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Ability to interact with authorities and clients to finalize the electrical design systems
• Willingness to travel to project sites to check site progress and participate in design meetings
