Job Overview

:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel "Design Engineer" to design, develop, and implement various types of control panels including Power Control Centers (PCC), Motor Control Centers (MCC), PLC panels, VFD panels, and automation panels. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical design software and industrial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical control panels as per customer requirements and applicable standards (IS, IEC, NEC, UL, etc.)

Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and BOQs using AutoCAD or EPLAN.

Create BOMs (Bill of Materials), cable schedules, and interconnection diagrams.

Select appropriate components (breakers, relays, PLCs, contactors, VFDs, transformers, etc.)

Collaborate with project engineers, customers, and production teams to ensure technical accuracy.

Perform design calculations, including short circuit ratings, load calculations, and wire sizing.

Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing and commissioning

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Support in testing and troubleshooting during panel fabrication and commissioning stages.

Manage change orders and project documentation updates.

Willingness to travel for onsite commissioning and support.

Provide training and technical support to maintenance and operations teams.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, E&TC Engineering, Automation, or related field.

Experience

:

2-4 years and above of relevant experience in Design and industrial automation (experience level can be adjusted).

SGC / HRD / F / 01

Power Control Centers (PCC)

Motor Control Centers (MCC)

PLC & SCADA Panels

VFD and Soft Starter Panels

Automation and Instrumentation Panels

Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.) is an added advantage.
