Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer (freelancer) responsible for preparing detailed electrical designs, drawings, and documentation in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare electrical design drawings including lighting, power, earthing, and low-current systems Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and panel schedules Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and plumbing teams Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards (IEC, IS, NEC, etc.) Participate in design reviews and implement client/consultant comments Support construction teams with technical clarifications and revisions Maintain accurate documentation and design records
Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of experience in electrical design Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit/ETAP/DIALux preferred Strong understanding of electrical systems for buildings/industrial projects Knowledge of local and international electrical codes Good coordination and communication skills
