The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components to meet project requirements. The role involves preparing electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with standards, supporting project execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components as per project requirements.
Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Conduct calculations for load, power distribution, short circuit, and protection coordination.
Select appropriate electrical components (switchgear, cables, relays, transformers, etc.).
Support in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications.
Collaborate with mechanical, and project teams for integrated design solutions.
Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning stages.
Troubleshoot design-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
Stay updated with latest technologies, standards, and industry practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Proven experience in electrical design, preferably in LT Panel.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD etc.).
Strong knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in LT Panel, control systems, and automation.
Knowledge of renewable energy systems (solar, wind, etc.).
Hands-on experience in project execution and commissioning.
