USA & Canada projects
while ensuring compliance with
NEC, CSA, NFPA, IEEE
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and review single line diagrams (SLD), load list, schematics, cable schedules, DB Schedule, Power, lighting & grounding layouts and Existing MCC/Switchgear /Switchrack modification job.
+ Perform equipment sizing and selection for transformers, switchgear, MCC, VFDs, MV, LV Cables & UPS etc.
+ Design and review cable routing, lighting and grounding using CAD/3D modeling tools & w.r.t site inputs.
+ Prepare technical specifications & datasheets for electrical equipment.
+ MTO preparation & review with detail part numbers.
+ Prepare Engineering work package.
+ Coordinate with vendors, clients and multidisciplinary teams for design reviews and technical clarifications.
+ Perform & review system studies including load flow, short circuit, Arc flash, Relay coordination using SKM tool.
+ Ensure compliance with GP, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, CSA and local codes applicable to USA/Canada projects.
+ Support construction, commissioning, and field engineering activities as required for North America projects.
+ Onsite - offshore team coordination.
Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in all electrical designs.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of
NEC, NFPA, IEEE, CSA standards
.
Hands-on with
SKM, AutoCAD
(or equivalent).
Experience with hazardous area classification & explosion-proof equipment.
Excellent communication & coordination skills.
Preferred:
Prior experience on
North American refinery projects

Familiarity with
EPC work processes
(FEED, detailed engineering, construction).
