Job Requirements
:
looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Electrical Design Engineer to support our Controls Team in the design, drafting, and development of electrical systems and control software . This role involves hands-on work with CAD tools--Promis-E for electrical schematics and Creo for 3D modelling. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing both engineering and drafting tasks, contributing to new machine designs and modifications to existing systems. Create electrical bill of materials (BOM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain electrical schematics using Promis-E.
• Create and update 3D models and assemblies using Creo.
• Perform electrical engineering tasks including component selection, BOM creation, circuit design, and system integration.
• Collaborate Controls Engineers to review the designs.
• Support the design and routing of cables, harnesses, and electrical assemblies.
• Contribute to both new machine development and engineering changes for existing equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and internal quality requirements.

Work Experience
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Promis-E, Creo
• Experience in electrical design and drafting for industrial or automation equipment.
• Strong understanding of cable/harness routing and electrical assembly design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with engineering change processes and documentation standards.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.
