Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated

Costing & Design Engineer

with a background in

Electrical Engineering

and hands?on experience in the

panel industry

. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical designs, cost estimations, and supporting project execution with accurate technical and financial inputs.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

electrical designs, schematics, and layouts

for LT/HT panels, switchgear, and control panels. Estimate

project costs, material requirements, and labour expenses

for panel manufacturing. Collaborate with sales and production teams to provide accurate costing and design support. Prepare

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Support tender preparation and submission with design and costing inputs. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing and technical clarifications. Maintain records of costing, designs, and revisions for future reference.

Required Skills

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in

Electrical Engineering

. Minimum 2 years of experience in

panel industry (design & costing)

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD Electrical

and MS Office. Strong knowledge of

switchgear, control panels, and electrical circuits

. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.
