Job Description

Job summary:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer Electrical with at least 5 years of experience in the design and drafting of Telecom, ICT, Security, and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D, and capable of developing precise and coordinated drawings for infrastructure and building projects. This position supports engineers in delivering high-quality documentation that meets project and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare detailed CAD drawings for telecom, ICT, security, and ELV systems based on design inputs
Work closely with electrical and low-voltage engineers to develop schematic diagrams, layouts, and riser diagrams
Generate trench routing, cable layouts, conduit plans, and other utility infrastructure drawings
Use AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to produce and manage design documentation
Ensure drawings adhere to client, company, and regulatory standards
Incorporate markups and revisions from engineering teams accurately and in a timely manner
Support multi-disciplinary coordination and clash checks
Maintain organized drawing records and support documentation
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD drafting for electrical systems, specifically Telecom, ICT, Security, and ELV
Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D
Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, access control, and other ELV systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering redlines
Familiarity with standards such as BICSI, TIA/EIA, and local telecom regulations
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
