RF Design Engineer (FM / High-Power Systems)

We are seeking a skilled RF Design Engineer with proven experience in FM modulation, high-power RF amplification, RF filters, and RF oscillators. This role involves the design, simulation, testing, and optimisation of RF circuits and systems for reliable, high-performance operation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop RF FM modulatorswith high distortion Design and optimise high-power RF amplifiers(Class A, AB, B, or switching classes as applicable) Design, simulate, and tune RF filters(LC, cavity, SAW/BAW where applicable) for harmonic suppression and bandwidth control Design stable RF oscillators(LC, crystal, PLL-based) with low phase noise Perform RF simulations using tools such as *LTspice, Proteus
Prototype, test, and troubleshoot RF circuits using spectrum analysers, network analysers, power meters, and oscilloscopes Ensure compliance with RF emission and regulatory standards Document designs, test results, and technical reports

Required Skills & Experience

Strong practical experience in RF circuit design Solid understanding of:
FM modulation principles RF power amplifier design and efficiency Impedance matching and stability Harmonic generation and suppression Experience working in the VHF/UHFfrequency range (FM broadcast or similar preferred) Ability to independently design, test, and debug RF hardware Good understanding of EMC/EMI considerations

Experience with high-power RF (>10 W to kW range) PCB layout experience for RF designs Knowledge of antenna matching and transmission lines
