Electrical Design Engineer - Candidate Profile

• Experience of practical work on projects in Oil & Gas/EPC plants
• Knowledge of Electrical standards (IS,IEC,NEMA,CBIP & IEEE)
• Experience of handling control system (MCC or PLC based)
• Experience of creating inputs for lighting calculation for the plant
• Experience of working on P&IDs & Electrical documents (e.g. Electrical block diagram, Single line diagram, Load list etc.)

• Make calculations and basic designs of complete systems or components of a system
• Make calculations and detailed designs
• Review and assess of both internal and external calculations and designs.

• Finalize all relevant technical documentation

• Ensuring operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design
• Ensuring engineering documentation is available for procurement

• Responsible for preparation / checking of engineering documents for the Electrical detail engineering

• Study / Understand of Client project specification

• Generate / Check E&I documents (e.g. Electrical block diagram, Cable list, Power consumption

etc.) based on client specification / Company standard / International standard

• Provide inputs to 3D model for E&I parts (e.g. Cable tray routine, Instrument location etc.)

• Responsible for E&I activity in the project

• Responsible for planning of E&I activities in the project

• Understanding of P&ID's, Electrical standards (IS,IEC,NEMA,CBIP & IEEE), Thorough understanding of electrical equipment (Motor, starter, heater etc.) ,Control system (MCC or PLC based), Understanding of Cable tray layout, Basic understanding of Lighting calculation, Basic understanding of Earthing details, Auto CAD proficiency, Design Experience in Electrical
