Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Elastic Stack Engineer to design, implement, and operate Elasticsearch and Kibana, and to lead the migration/upgrade of existing clusters and data to the latest supported version. You will be responsible for cluster architecture, performance tuning, security, data ingestion pipelines, Kibana dashboards, and executing safe upgrades with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters and Kibana (on-prem and/or cloud).
Plan and execute version upgrades (including pre-checks, compatibility reviews, and rollback strategies).
Lead data migrations to the latest version, including:
Reindexing legacy indices, mapping updates, and template migrations
Handling breaking changes across major versions
Migrating Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies and index templates
Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
Pay: ?747.25 - ?3,924.32 per day
Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
Experience:
Elasticsearch: 3 years (Required)
Kibana: 3 years (Required)
