Job Description

Summary of the Role:



Lead, establish and maintain plant & utilities E&I, systems & improvements in order to support manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance to all HSE and legal requirements & developing talent of a team.

Achieve E&I maintenance operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing actions plans; implementing production. Productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Supervise, Operate & maintain the Electrical, Instrument & automation installations to ensure the reliable, efficient & cost-effective operations & manufacturing activities on site. Establish and maintain SOPs for all the Electrical and Instrumentation activities & installations and continually improve the practices Sustain and Improve Maintenance & calibration procedures, quality & ISO systems for the overall Electrical and Instrumentation on the site Effective spares management for instrumentation Maintain suppliers' documents, datasheets, design documents, test certificates etc. for all instruments and systems Train, guide & support the E & I Engineer and Technician for Installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting & calibration of various Instruments and Control system Monitor and maintain all Legal requirements related to licenses, permits, calibration, testing etc Coordinate and direct the activities of the instrumentation engineers and the shift supervisors. Ensure the availability of the plant control systems and equipment throughout the yearly production schedule. Reprogramming of the PLC as and when needed. Initiate, implement and maintain the PLC programs by planned and prevention maintenance Ensure safety of equipment and personnel. Prepare and schedule preventive maintenance for the electrical equipment's. Organize and coordinate operations and allocation of people related to their department in ways that ensure maximum productivity while maintaining the balance among team members' load. Performance management of team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness and a goal-oriented approach. Counselling, mentoring, and managing employee grievances as needed Direct responsibility Capability building in instrumentation Overall responsibility for OEM Spare inventory, consumption planning, and control To manage all E&I Maintenance activities in the plant to ensure adherence to production schedules and maximize productivity Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities including annual maintenance, breakdown maintenance of all equipment, and preventive maintenance systems Designing and implementing appropriate systems preventive maintenance, equipment history and asset register Overall responsibility for adherence to local laws, especially labor laws, pollution control laws, fire and explosives, safety, electrical installations etc Carry out root cause analysis to analyse problems and propose solution and oversee implementation for site requirements

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE



B Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation 15 years relevant work experience as Lead Engineer.

SKILLS & COMPETENCE



Strong Business Skills, for managing budgets, leading a team and liaising with suppliers Self-driven manager with solid experience in guiding and motivating controls and instrumentation teams, ability to multi-task, and appreciate business point of view. Experience in interfacing with customers and understanding their needs, ability to inspire confidence and lead problem resolution with a positive attitude. Electronic troubleshooting skills Effective leadership ability Demonstrably high level of technical understanding High capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures Strong ability to negotiate and persuade others Confidence to respond positively when under pressure Excellent people management skill
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
