Role Overview:

Join the Asia Pacific R&D EH&S team to ensure effective implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies in India and other APAC countries. Collaborate with site leaders to minimize operation risks, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with site teams to establish / implement EHS&S policies and promote a strong safety culture. Interpret and communicate laws, regulations, and company policies. Administer and improve EHS programs, including training and risk assessments. Maintain records for Occupational Safety & Health programs. Develop department-specific safety policies and programs. Collaborate to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions. Advise management on risk management and controls. Champion EHS initiatives through clear communication and engagement. Streamline processes to build a world-class safety culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in agricultural, industrial field. Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel up to 40% mainly in India and across Asia Pacific. Advanced computer proficiency and attention to detail. 3-5 years' EHS management experience. Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Fluency in Hindi, Telugu, and English. Diploma in Industrial safety from the Central Labour Institute (CLI) or Certificate in Safety Engineering from the Regional Labour Institute (RLI) Workplace Safety certification (First Aid, CPR, AED). Training in industrial hygiene and regulatory compliance. Awareness of environmental regulations.
