Job Summary:



1. Conducting Safety Inspections



a. Regularly inspect the workplace for potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

b. Identify unsafe practices or conditions and recommend corrective actions.

2. Developing and Implementing Safety Programs



a. Create and enforce safety policies and procedures based on legal requirements and best practices.

b. Design and implement safety training programs for employees.

c. Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and available.

d. Risk Assessment

e. Perform risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and evaluate the potential risks.

f. Implement strategies to minimize or eliminate risks, including safety measures and Protective equipment.

3. Accident Investigation



a. Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine the root cause.

b. Prepare reports on findings and recommend preventive actions.

c. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of accidents to relevant authorities.

4. Compliance with Safety Regulations



a. Stay updated on local, state, and federal safety laws and regulations.

b. Ensure the company complies with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) or other regulatory bodies' standards.

c. Prepare for and facilitate safety audits.

5. Emergency Response Planning



a. Develop and implement emergency response procedures for situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or natural disasters.

b. Organize and lead regular drills and training on emergency protocols.

c. Ensure that all employees know emergency evacuation routes and procedures.

6. Safety Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)



a. Ensure the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers,first-aid kits, safety signage).

b. Oversee the distribution and use of PPE, such as helmets, gloves, goggles, and hearing protection.

7. Reporting and Documentation



a. Maintain accurate safety records, including accident reports, inspection logs, and safety training certificates.

b. Report on safety performance and provide suggestions for improvement to management.

8. Promoting a Safety Culture



a. Foster a culture of safety in the workplace through regular communication, safety campaigns, and employee engagement.

b. Encourage employees to report on unsafe conditions or practices without fear of retaliation.

9. Providing Safety Leadership.



a. Serve as the point of contact for all safety-related issues.

b. Work closely with management to ensure that safety concerns are addressed.

c. Lead safety meetings and provide guidance on best safety practices.

10. Monitoring and Evaluating Safety Programs



a. Monitor the effectiveness of safety programs and procedures.

b. Continuously assess and improve safety protocols to reduce accidents and injuries.

11. Legal and Insurance Liaison



a. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies or insurance companies regarding safety matters.

b. Ensure that the company is covered with appropriate insurance for workplace accidents.

Requirements:



Education:

Minimum Graduate in any discipline and Diploma in Industrial Safety and Fire.

Experience:

4 - 5 Years of experience in a industrial Safety, Environment and Health .

Skills:

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills

Pay: ?350,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
