Job Summary: The EHS Officer/Executive will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems, policies, and practices across the manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory regulations such as the Factories Act and Pollution Control Board (PCB) guidelines, driving continuous improvement in safety standards, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and standards across all plant operations.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Factories Act, PCB norms, and other applicable safety and environmental laws.
Conduct periodic safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Lead incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
Organize and conduct EHS training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for all levels of employees and contract workers.
Liaise effectively with Pollution Control Board (PCB), Factories Department, and other government authorities for inspections, renewals, and statutory compliances.
Maintain and update EHS records, permits, and licenses as per legal and corporate requirements.
Prepare, analyze, and present EHS reports, performance dashboards, and compliance documentation to management on a regular basis.
Drive initiatives for waste management, energy conservation, pollution control, and other sustainability programs.
Foster and promote a proactive safety-first culture throughout the organization.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in Engineering / Automobile / Heavy Fabrication industry.
Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma with specialization in Industrial Safety (recognized under the Factories Act).
Certifications (Preferred): From recognized institutes such as RLI, CLI, IIISM, or Rajiv Gandhi Institute.
Languages: Fluency in Kannada and Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of English will be an added advantage.

Compensation: ₹6 - ?8 LPA (CTC) based on experience and qualifications.

Proficiency in conducting safety audits, training, and incident analysis.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
