Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., waste management, pollution control, chemical handling).
Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, audits, and environmental performance.
Collaborate with management and staff to promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any stream + Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant EHS experience (industry-specific experience preferred).
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulations/standards.
Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is an advantage.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
