Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Safety, Fire, Environment, or related field

Key Responsibilities

Shift-Based Operations

: Ensure EHS coverage across rotational shifts, managing ground-level safety activities and emergency preparedness.

Emergency Response

: Act as first responder during incidents such as gas leaks or fire emergencies.

Drill Management

: Plan and execute Level-1, Level-2 & Level-3 mock drills to test emergency readiness.

Audit & Compliance

: Support ERDMP, T4S & IMS audits and safety inspections. Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and regulatory filings.

Work Permit System (WPS)

: Oversee issuance and monitoring of work permits, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Safety Training

: Conduct training sessions on first aid, fire fighting, and general safety awareness. Mentor and guide employees on safety initiatives and behavioral safety practices.

Fire Safety Systems

: Inspect and maintain fire protection and fire alarm systems. Promote fire prevention by identifying unsafe acts and conditions.

Technical Expertise

: Use safety instruments for sampling and monitoring environmental parameters. Implement and maintain EHS checklists and reporting systems.

Culture Building

: Foster a safe and healthy work environment through proactive engagement and continuous improvement.
Desired Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of fire protection systems and emergency protocols. Familiarity with ERDMP, T4S, IMS frameworks and audit procedures. Hands-on experience with safety instruments and monitoring tools. Proficient in documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking. Ability to lead safety drills and training programs effectively. Knowledge of unsafe act/condition identification and mitigation. Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Additional Information

Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts. On-ground presence and quick decision-making during emergencies is essential. Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Industrial Safety is a plus
