Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician to join our medical team. The EEG Technician will be responsible for performing electroencephalograms (EEGs) to monitor and record electrical activity in patients' brains. This role requires a strong understanding of neurological function, an ability to work with various medical equipment, and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform EEG Procedures:

Prepare and position patients for EEG testing by applying electrodes and ensuring proper setup of the equipment.

Monitor and record brain activity during EEG tests.

Provide clear instructions to patients and ensure their comfort during the procedure.

Equipment Setup and Maintenance:

Set up, calibrate, and maintain EEG equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during EEG recordings.

Data Analysis:

Review and analyze EEG results to identify abnormal brain activity.

Work with neurologists or physicians to interpret findings and provide assistance in diagnosing neurological disorders.

Patient Interaction:

Ensure a calm and professional atmosphere for patients undergoing EEG testing.

Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions they may have.

Documentation and Reporting:

Document patient information and the details of the EEG procedure.

Prepare detailed reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Patient Safety:

Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards while interacting with patients and handling medical equipment.

Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with medical staff, including neurologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
