We are looking for EEG.

ensuring patient comfort, and monitoring their condition during the test.

Procedure Execution:

Placing electrodes on the patient's scalp to record brain electrical activity.

Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

Operating EEG machines and other neurodiagnostic equipment, performing routine maintenance and calibration, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Data Analysis:

Monitoring and analyzing the recorded data for abnormalities or abnormal brain patterns.

Documentation & Reporting:

Generating accurate and detailed reports of test results for physicians or neurologists to interpret and use in patient care planning.

Safety & Protocols:

Adhering to infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Collaboration:

Communicating with physicians, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Typical Duties

Preparing the patient and their scalp for electrode placement. Ensuring the proper functioning of EEG equipment and supplies. Recognizing and documenting artifacts (interference) in the EEG signal. Maintaining organized and confidential patient records. Assisting with other neurodiagnostic tests as needed.
Required Skills

Knowledge of electroencephalography (EEG) equipment and procedures. Strong attention to detail for accurate data recording. Good communication skills for patient education and collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
