As an Educational Counselor at the Indian Defence Academy, your role will be pivotal in guiding and supporting students from across India in their pursuit of a successful career in the defence sector. You will serve as a bridge between our institution and prospective candidates, helping them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive guidance and counseling to aspiring students interested in NDA, CDS, SSB, RIMC, and other defence-related courses. Admissions Support: Assist candidates in the application and admission process, ensuring they understand the course offerings, eligibility criteria, and deadlines. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with students and parents via various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and online chat. Information Dissemination: Keep up-to-date with our course curriculum, offerings, and admission requirements to provide accurate information to candidates. Career Counseling: Offer insights into career opportunities in the defence sector and provide guidance on suitable courses and pathways. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions, ensuring that every student's needs and concerns are appropriately documented.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational counseling or related roles. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and parents. Knowledge of defence-related courses and career options is a plus.
