Program Overview

MakerGhat is implementing the

Maker Mindset Program and AI Literacy Program

across

10,000 government schools in different districts of Odisha and Nashik district of Maharashtra

. The program focuses on hands-on maker education, AI literacy, and entrepreneurship-based learning to improve teaching practices and student learning outcomes.

Internship Duration

4-5 weeks

Total engagement: 180 hours

Key Responsibilities

Selected interns will be actively involved in the following activities:

Conducting

school-level case studies

Carrying out

classroom observations

during maker and AI literacy sessions

Transcribing and documenting

qualitative data collected from schools Supporting

basic data analysis

, report writing, and documentation Assisting the implementation team in capturing insights from field implementation

Learning Outcomes

Through this internship, interns will gain:

Hands-on exposure to

education research and field implementation

Understanding of

Maker Education, AI Literacy, and experiential learning

Experience in

data collection, documentation, and qualitative analysis

Opportunity to contribute to a

government-collaborated, district-level education initiative

Eligibility Criteria

Students currently pursuing

Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies from Education(B. Ed/M. Ed), Social work(BSW,MSW), Sociology, Psychology, Computer(BCA,MCA), BBA, MBA, Rural Management

Interest in

education, research, social development, or field-based work

Basic skills in

observation, documentation, and report writing

Willingness to travel to government schools within the district Ability to work independently and follow structured research processes
