Job Description

Student Guidance:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students. Help students identify their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and abilities through assessments and interviews. Assist students in setting realistic academic and career goals.

Academic & Career Planning:

Provide information and guidance on course selection, career paths, and continuing education options. Help students prepare for college admissions and entrance examinations. Organize workshops on study skills, career readiness, and college applications.

Support and Resources:

Develop and implement academic and personal support programs, such as tutoring and mentoring. Provide information on resources and refer students to external organizations or professionals when needed. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to identify and address learning or behavioral issues.

Record Keeping:

Maintain confidential records of student assessments, session notes, and academic progress.
Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is typically required.

Experience:

Proven experience in an academic advising or counseling role is beneficial.

Interpersonal & Communication:

Strong abilities to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

Empathy:

The capacity to understand students' needs and concerns.

Analytical:

Skills to interpret assessments and analyze student behaviors.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
