The Education Counselor is responsible for guiding students and parents through the process of selecting suitable courses, programs, and institutions. This role involves counseling, sales, and building strong relationships to achieve admissions or enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Student Counseling
Understand students' academic background, career goals, and interests.
Provide accurate information about courses, universities, fees, and career outcomes.
Suggest suitable programs based on student needs.
2. Sales & Conversions
Handle leads generated through calls, walk-ins, online inquiries, and events.
Convert leads into admissions by presenting program benefits and value.
Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
3. Communication & Follow-ups
Maintain regular communication with potential students and parents.
Follow up via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and meetings to ensure conversion.
Build and maintain good relationships with students.
4. Documentation & Process Management
Assist students in completing application forms and documentation.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
Coordinate with internal teams (admissions, finance, academics) for smooth onboarding.
5. Marketing & Events
Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and campus events.
Promote courses through outreach activities when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (any field; education or business preferred).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
Basic computer and CRM skills.
Customer-focused, with a sales-driven mindset.
Experience in education sales, admissions, or counseling (preferred).
