. We focus on practical training, industry-relevant curriculum, and real project-based learning. We are expanding and looking for a passionate Education Counsellor to join our team.
Role Overview
As an Education Counsellor, you will be the
first point of contact
for students and parents. Your goal is to guide leads through the course offerings, understand their needs, explain benefits, handle queries, and convert them into successful enrollments.
This role combines
consultative selling, active listening, empathy, and follow-up discipline
Engage with inbound leads from calls, WhatsApp, ads, website, and walk-ins.
Understand student goals, skill-level, and career aspirations.
Recommend the right course (Digital Marketing / Editing / Design / UI-UX).
Explain curriculum, teaching methods, faculty, batch timings, outcomes.
Follow structured sales funnel and convert leads to enrollments.
Maintain monthly enrollment targets.
2. Follow-ups & Communication
Conduct timely follow-ups via call, WhatsApp, and email.
Maintain active communication with cold, warm & hot leads.
Track pipeline progress through CRM tools.
3. Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
Resolve doubts about fees, placements, career growth.
Arrange trial classes/demo sessions when needed.
4. Operational Support
Coordinate with tutors, marketing, and admin teams.
Maintain student data, enrollment records, and reports.
Assist in running seminars, workshops, webinars, orientation sessions.
5. Customer Experience
Provide an excellent student experience from enquiry to admission.
Gather feedback on counselling and share insights with the leadership team.
Help reduce drop-offs and improve student satisfaction.
6. Required Skills
Strong communication & presentation abilities
Good command over English & Hindi
Confident, pleasant, empathetic conversation style
Ability to understand student needs and advise accordingly
Comfortable with phone-based counselling & daily targets
Basic understanding of digital marketing, design, or creative fields (preferred)
Experience with CRM, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, etc.
7. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (any field)
1-3 years of experience in counselling/sales in EdTech, coaching institutes, or training centres preferred.
