Job Descri[tion

Provide one-on-one counseling to students regarding academic, career, and personal issues.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Administer and interpret aptitude, personality, and career assessment tests.

Assist students in course selection and scheduling to meet graduation requirements.

Coordinate with teachers and school administrators to monitor and support student progress.

Offer workshops and seminars on topics such as college admissions, career exploration, and study skills.

Facilitate peer counseling and mentoring programs to encourage student engagement and support.

Maintain up-to-date records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes.

Work with families to address any home-related issues that may impact a student's academic performance.

Advocate for students' needs within the school system and assist in securing any necessary resources.

Prepare and compile reports on student progress and counseling activities for school administrators.

Stay current with educational standards, trends, and best practices to provide high-quality counseling services.
