We are seeking a motivated and empathetic

Education Counselor

to guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The counselor will be responsible for providing accurate information about courses, training programs, career paths, and admissions, while ensuring a supportive experience for students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students (and parents, if required) regarding academic programs, career options, and admission procedures. Understand student needs, interests, and strengths to suggest suitable courses and career paths. Provide detailed information about institutions, programs, curriculum, admission requirements, and financial aid. Assist in application processes, documentation, and follow-ups. Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, leads, and conversions. Organize seminars, workshops, and orientation sessions for students. Stay updated with education trends, new programs, and industry developments. Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions. Meet counseling targets and contribute to admissions growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred). Proven experience as an education counselor/academic advisor/admission counselor is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic, approachable, and student-friendly attitude. Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (preferred).
