:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable female Education Counsellor specializing in the UK education system to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and detail-oriented professional who can effectively guide students and their families through the entire process of applying to UK universities and colleges. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, managing student applications, and building strong relationships with both students and educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Conduct personalized counseling sessions with prospective students and their parents to understand their academic background, career goals, and personal preferences. Provide expert guidance on the UK education system, including different levels of study (undergraduate, postgraduate, etc.), qualification frameworks, and various types of institutions. Help students choose the right courses and universities based on their profiles, interests, and financial capabilities. Address student and parent queries about the UK education system, student life, scholarships, and post-study opportunities.

Application Management:

Assist students with the complete application process, from document preparation and submission to tracking application status. Provide support in writing compelling personal statements and essays. Liaise with universities and admissions teams to ensure a smooth application and offer process. Stay up-to-date with application deadlines, visa regulations, and other relevant policies.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with students throughout their journey, from initial inquiry to enrollment. Develop and nurture relationships with university representatives and other stakeholders in the UK education sector. Represent the company at education fairs, seminars, and other promotional events.

Knowledge & Training:

Continuously update knowledge on the latest trends, policies, and developments in the UK education landscape. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance counseling skills and industry expertise. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all student interactions and application data.

Qualifications & Skills:

Gender:

Female (This is a specific requirement for this role to ensure a comfortable and accessible counseling environment for our predominantly female student clientele and their families.)

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in education counseling, preferably with a focus on the UK or "Experience in a similar sales or customer service role is a plus.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Psychology, or International Relations is preferred.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of the UK education system:

A thorough understanding of different academic levels, qualifications (GCSEs, A-Levels, BTECs, etc.), and the application process (UCAS, direct applications).

Excellent communication skills:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and university officials.

Empathy and patience:

The ability to listen attentively, be non-judgmental, and provide emotional support to students navigating a significant life decision.

Organizational skills:

Strong time management and attention to detail to handle multiple student applications and deadlines.

Problem-solving abilities:

The capacity to identify student challenges and provide effective solutions.

Sales-oriented mindset:

Ability to meet and exceed counseling and enrollment targets.

Computer literacy:

Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
