About The Job:

  • We are looking for a high energy individual with an ambitious spirit and consistent record of successful selling into Education Ministry & Educational Institutions (Higher Ed , K12 - Private & Public) .
  • As an Education Account Manager you would acquire net new Education institutions , Education Ministry accounts on our Digital Media offerings through strong partner relationships , development of sales propositions and close sale with contractual agreement . Education Sales is a key growth area of Adobe portfolio and you will be part of a strong team of Education - Digital Media Education Sales.
  • You will report into a Head- Education, Adobe Digital Media and will carry a Sales quota.
  • This is a perfect opportunity to take on a senior sales role in a rapidly growing tech company.
Essential Job Functions:
In charge of selling our Digital Media (Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Stock, Sign & eLearning ) offerings, you will have to:
  • Define and implement your strategy on Education Institutions & Ministry accounts in a defined Territory / Geography.
  • Acquire and maintain a top-line understanding of Education market, trends, projects & competition.
  • Prospect, develop and acquire new accounts.
  • Champion and expand in existing accounts.
  • Build, maintain and convert pipeline
  • Grow business through meticulous business management execution
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships to top-decision-makers at C-levels (Chancellors, Vice Chancellor, Principal Secretary, Commissioners ) and functional levels ( Dean , Director , Academic Head )
  • Coordinate multi-functional team to sign multi-year enterprise agreements / strategic agreements
  • Meet core lead indicators around pipeline coverage progression, forecast, meetings and general activity
  • Develop and use Partner ecosystem relationships to accelerate growth
  • Meet or exceed quota
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years field technology sales experience in the Education Ministry & Education Institutions sector (Preferably in Higher Education & Skill Development Departments /K12 academic Institutional sales)
  • Degree or Postgraduate in Sales/Marketing/Business/Computer Science or similar
  • High yielding mentality and consistency in over achievement
  • Consistent track record engaging in value-based customer centric conversations, and leading a defined enterprise sales process
  • Consistent record of Adobe / subscription based technology sales in Education Ministry , Education Institutions ( Private & Public )
  • Must have consistent track record of prospecting/cold-calling, account building, maintenance, and closing large sales opportunities
  • Must have confidence developing relationships and experience with Senior executives, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Education / Skill Development Secretary, Commissioners, management of Education Institutions & Education Ministry.
  • Must have consistent track record of positive relationships, joint customer engagements , business success with Education Specialised Partners in India & South Asia .
  • Exhibit ability to effectively lead sophisticated sales tasks, projects and completing priorities
  • Excellent in business assessment , forecasting and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written skills are required
  • Excellence in business ethics and integrity
  • Great teaming and comfortable working with a geographically distributed team
