BA Skills :
Experience in consulting-oriented roles in education industry, business/strategy, process or
technology areas
Elicit requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, use case scenarios
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level
information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
Break-down an epic into user stories to be consumed by the Dev & QA team
Experience of Agile development methodologies
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, VersionOne
Acts as a liaison between the business teams, SMEs, project management and the technical
team members
Able to drive requirements related discussions independently
Can document as-is and to-be processes
Can work with the Product Manager to define the product roadmap/backlog
Understanding of the feature prioritization frameworks
Experience working in large deals and business pursuits
Understand the industry trends, business imperatives, strategic growth areas and underlying
technology trends.
Domain Skills:
Good understanding of key education and publishing business processes in domains /sub
domains such as Content, Assessments, Rights & Royalties for K12 and Higher Ed segments
