Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

EDP Executive

to manage and support the

Edify software application

used in our biotechnology operations. The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of Edify software, troubleshoot issues, assist users, and maintain data integrity in line with biotech industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, maintain, and administer the software platform and associated modules. Provide first-line user support, diagnose issues, and ensure timely resolution across departments. Liaise with software vendors and internal IT teams for updates, customizations, and technical support. Ensure data integrity, timely processing, and regular backups within the system. Conduct user training sessions and create supporting materials to promote effective use of the platform. Monitor software performance and generate routine and ad-hoc reports for management. Support the integration of the software with other internal biotech systems, such as LIMS, ERP, and document control systems. Maintain up-to-date documentation, including SOPs, user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and incident logs. Ensure software usage is compliant with industry regulations, such as GLP/GMP, and internal data security protocols. Assist during audits and compliance reviews involving the software and its data handling practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience with enterprise software platforms used in biotech or related industries. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Understanding of biotechnology operations, workflows, and data standards. Knowledge of database management, software integration, and basic IT infrastructure. Ability to train and support non-technical users effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Biotechnology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting enterprise software, preferably within biotech or life sciences industries. Experience with workflow automation, reporting tools, or system integrations is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
