Job Description

1. Set up, operate, and monitor EDM machines (Wire EDM and/or Die-Sinking EDM) for Aluminium extrusion dies and tooling

2. Interpret engineering drawings, die designs, and specifications

3. Perform die correction, bearing modification, and repair work to improve extrusion quality

4. Select and set appropriate EDM parameters (current, voltage, pulse, wire type, flushing)

5. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, if applicable)

6. Maintain tight dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements

7. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

8. Identify tooling defects and coordinate with die designers or supervisors for corrective actions

9. Maintain production records, job cards, and quality documentation

10. Follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards (5S), and company policies

11. Support continuous improvement in die life, extrusion quality, and productivity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
