Whom we are looking for As an Editorial Designer at ZebraLearn, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our interactive books. You\'ll work closely with our team, leveraging their creative vision and collaborating to transform ideas into captivating book designs. With subscriptions to copyright-free illustration platforms, you\'ll have the tools to create extraordinary educational materials. What you should do: Design pages within the book\'s established content. Designs illustrations, sketches and other artwork as needed to support the concepts. Collaborate closely with content research analysts to develop book design through design Work with authors, illustrators, photographers, and others to secure appropriate art for books. Performs image research and acquires permissions when needed. Coordinate details and art depicting the content. Research and commissions illustrators. Meet production benchmarks and deadlines set by the Production Manager. Review color and pre plans and decide the theme for the book and check printing on press if required. What you should have: Passion for print; Strong understanding of visual hierarchy and storytelling ; Strong typography skills; Ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative team; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Programs including: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Strong attention to detail; Strong work ethic ; Passion for design and art is a plus.
