As the Content or Editorial Lead at Lenskart, you'll be pivotal in elevating the consumer's journey-- telling brand stories through the right tone, timing, and formats across all touchpoints. You'll help shape how customers see and interact with Lenskart in both physical stores and digital interfaces, making the brand culturally resonant and commercially compelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead editorial-led commerce experiences by collaborating closely with Brand Experience, Fashion Studio, UX/UI, and design teams
Own content quality and maintain brand voice--from short-form fashion copy to trend-led storytelling, ensuring personality, clarity, and brand alignment
Innovate content experiences--launch new formats, experiment with trend narratives, integrate cultural storytelling to make eyewear engaging and contextually relevant across consumer touchpoints
Collaborate cross-functionally with CRM, performance marketing, UI/UX, merchandising, packaging, and catalog teams to align campaigns and consumer journeys to content needs
Analyse performance metrics (CTR, conversion, engagement) to refine content strategy and spot areas for improvement; lead experiments and A/B tests to optimize copy and UX copy flow
Project and stakeholder management--manage multiple briefs; coordinate with external partners and agencies; maintain timelines and ensure delivery of high-impact content assets
Qualifications:
Experience: 6-10 years in editorial, content, or ecommerce with exposure to fashion or lifestyle branding; some roles specify ~2-5 years
Education: Bachelor's in Journalism, Literature, Communication, or Marketing; Master's preferred (especially in communications/business disciplines)
Skills: Strong writing ability-witty, concise fashion/brand copy for various formats
Brand-led thinking with strategic storytelling mindset
Understanding of UI content & editorial UX
Good knowledge of SEO, audience engagement tactics (bonus)
Personality traits: hands-on problem-solver; highly collaborative project manager; customer-centric with ability to prototype quickly and iterate Additional experience: familiarity with performance marketing, CRM campaigns, Omni channel retail, multilingual markets is a plus
