Kielo Research is seeking a remote Editorial Assistant to join our team as an Independent Contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, editing, and formatting a wide range of client-facing materials (Word documents, PowerPoint slide decks) such as project proposals, study protocols, results presentations and reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, an excellent command of written English, and the ability to transform complex source material into polished, visually compelling content. Ideally, the candidate for this role should have experience working with materials in the health outcomes research sector.
What does our Editorial Assistant do?

Key Responsibilities
Presentation Development: Create, format and enhance a variety of client-facing materials including, but not limited to: PowerPoint slide decks, data visualisations, study documents, executive summaries, reports, using client-provided or Kielo Research source material; ensure compliance with internal/client branding, style and quality standards.
Quality Control: Ensure materials meet the highest standards and are aligned with client objectives and strategy. Conduct checks for accuracy and proof checks (against source documents/data), and ensure consistency and visual appeal.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment; collaborate and work closely with team members to meet deadlines.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of experience in editorial, publishing, or consulting support roles (experience in pharma/healthcare sector a plus).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (advanced formatting and design skills required).
Excellent command of English writing, editing and proofreading.
Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Comfortable working with scientific and technical content (familiarity with pharmaceutical/clinical terminology preferred).
Kielo Research is a digital-enabled consultancy, and we expect our staff to be fluent in using Microsoft Office products and comfortable with digital workflows.
