Job Requirements
:

Copy-edit and proofread documents in all subjects (K–12) meant for print as well as digital publishing and ensure that the final product is error-free, age-appropriate, eminently readable, and of optimum quality
Evaluate materials and give constructive feedback to the content developers
Rigorously follow the checklists, editorial house style guides, and other guidelines to ensure consistency
Plan work to adhere to the deadlines and provide guidance and support to the junior colleagues

Experience: 5 - 10
Primary Skills:

Desired Profile

Excellent command of written English
Critical eye for spotting errors in language, grammar, syntax, and typography
Ability to review texts in any school subject and to give necessary remedial feedback
A detail-oriented, methodical and research-driven mindset
Excellent communication skills
Preferably having prior knowledge in schoolbook publishing
Preferably having prior knowledge in any standard style guides (especially, the Chicago Manual of Style)
