ROLE SUMMARY
Role Title: Editor
Department: Editorial
Reporting To: Executive Editor

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To provide all the required editorial support to the PRHI Adult Editorial.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION AREAS
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Edit 15-18 titles in a year or as assigned by the Executive Editor .
- Perform structural edits on and manage books/authors as allocated by the Executive Editor.
- Schedule management for your respective titles: Ensuring handovers as per agreed timelines and minimizing title movements through better planning
- Author Care & list visibility : Managing Author relationship and expectations and liaison with external & internal stakeholders to ensure highest visibility for your titles
- B3 (metadata) updation of respective title, drafting Als and contracts forms
- To work on foreign rights with the Executive Editor and pitch in with editorial support as needed

- Ability to work hard and stay focused to meet the deadlines.
