Your Role

As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and maintenance of GCP infrastructure and applications. You'll handle routine operations, incident response, and system optimization to ensure reliability and performance.

In this role, you will:

Administer Linux and Windows systems in cloud environments, Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidents Execute backup and disaster recovery operations, Optimize system performance and apply security patches Automate deployments and manage rollback procedures, Analyze logs and configure alerts for proactive monitoring Manage GCP resources including compute, storage, networking, and IAM, Use Cloud Console and gcloud CLI for operational tasks Track resource usage and optimize cloud costs, Maintain service health and troubleshoot GCP services Document operational procedures and maintain runbooks, Communicate incident status and updates clearly Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, Interact professionally with internal customers Stay reliable for on-call and operational responsibilities, Apply basic Infrastructure as Code concepts

Your Profile

3+ years in cloud operations, system administration, or infrastructure management Preferred: 5+ years in enterprise cloud environments Experience in 24/7 operations and incident response Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), Familiarity with configuration management and monitoring tools Hands-on experience with GCP services including GCE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring,Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Certifications preferred: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, Linux+ or equivalent
