Job Summary:

The Edge banding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining edge banding machinery to apply edging to wood panels or furniture components. The operator ensures high-quality finishing, precision, and compliance with production standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor the edge banding machine to apply edge tape to panels and components. Set up machine parameters such as speed, temperature, glue application, and trimming settings. Inspect materials before and after processing to ensure accurate dimensions and quality finish. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal functionality. Load materials and unload finished products with care and efficiency. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and report any mechanical issues to maintenance or the supervisor. Ensure proper alignment, adhesion, trimming, and finishing of edges. Maintain cleanliness and organization around the machine and work area. Adhere to safety standards and production protocols at all times. Record production data and report output or defects to the supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience operating edge banding machines (manual/semi-auto/automatic). Familiarity with woodworking tools, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or production plans. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long hours.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

High School Diploma or ITI in Woodworking / Mechanical / Production (preferred). Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating edge banding or similar woodworking machinery. Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Pay: ₹264,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
